Galway Choral Association Youth Choir Summer School

THE GALWAY Choral Association will host its first youth choir summer school in the Presentation Secondary School Galway from July 6 to 10.
Aimed at 10 to 14-year-olds with an interest in either joining a choir or other group musical activity, the summer school will run from 10am to 3pm each day.
Directed by the Galway Choral Association’s new youth choir director, Liz Johnston, the course will provide a choral environment to nurture the participants’ interest in choral singing in addition to enhancing reading skills, and improving overall musicianship.
The cost of the course is €75 with a family discount available (€10 discount per participant for two or more members of the same family). Music will be available in advance and informal auditions can be arranged for students unsure of their suitability for the course.
