Galway Baroque Singers in Leisureland

ON THURSDAY June 11 at 8pm, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and the Galway Baroque Singers will perform their annual concert in Leisureland.
The programme consists of Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man - A Mass for Peace, which was commissioned by the Royal Armouries Museum for the millennium. As this year is the 250th anniversary of Haydn’s death, the programme will also include his ‘Te Deum’ and Mass in Time of War.
Tickets are €22/15 from Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop, Middle Street. The choir is holding a BBQ in the Radisson Hotel on Saturday June 20. For more information go to www.galwaybaroquesingers.org
