Baboró workshops for adults

Why should the children be the only ones to have the fun?

DESPITE ITS title, the Baboró International Arts Festival for Children, does not just have great shows for children, it also has events that will be interest to adults.

Parents who would like to develop ideas to help both them and their children, create art together at home; teachers keen to explore ways of connecting theatre back into the classroom, or how to foster an environment of imagination in class; and arts practitioners who want to learn more about making work for children, should check out the workshops on offer from the festival.

Workshops include ‘Creativity in the Classroom’ with Lindsay Deely; Creative learning through theatre; a dance masterclass with David Bolger, artistic director of CoisCéim Dance Theatre; making creative connections at home for parents and everything you need to know about writing a picture book in association with Children’s Books Ireland.

Baboró runs from October 15 to 21. For more information on the workshops see www.baboro.ie/festival/programme/event-type/foradults and below.
