First youth art exhibition launched in the Gateway Project

The Foróige Art Club in the Gateway Youth Project are delighted to announce they will be holding their first exhibition on Thursday June 28 from 5-7pm.

The Gateway Project is situated in St Mary’s Hall on Northgate Street, Athlone. The young people will present their first art exhibition of collaborative young artists’ work. This artwork has been completed by young people from Athlone and overseen by volunteer art teacher Rositsa Petrova.

The exhibition brings together six young artists, aged 10 to 14 years of age, presenting painting, drawing, and multi-disciplinary mixed media. This is a great chance to see some of Athlone’s emerging young artists.

The artists in the group exhibition are Amy McBride, Conor Crerar, Clodagh Scullion, Mateusz Nowasaul, Shirley Linn, and Julia Hennessy.

Entry is free and all are welcome. For more information on the art club please contact Brigid Malone on (086 ) 0279149 or email [email protected].
