Afternoon tea at Kadee

“A tea party is a spa for the soul. You leave your cares and work behind. Busy people forget their business. Your stress melts away, your senses awaken...”- Alexandra Stoddard

Kadee boutique, Pearse Street is to host an afternoon tea party with in-store fashion show on Sunday November 27 to raise funds for local charity St Vincent de Paul.

This renowned boutique will be serving up an enjoyable afternoon, where you can relax and chat with friends and family, while nibbling on some old-time tea cakes and French fancies. What makes this tea party special is not just the tea itself, but also the fashion showcase that will take place in store.

Kadee owner Deirdre Kelly will be on hand to give style advice on this season’s must-have pieces. “I’m finding that when buying for a special occasion such as a family wedding, my customers are not only looking for a unique piece, but really want to be able to get wear out of such an outfit. The day is long gone where one pays out a lot of money for that special dress or outfit and it’s left hanging in the wardrobe after one wear,” says Deirdre.

“At our show on Sunday, I will be showing you multiple ways to style the same dress. I like to take a good staple, well-cut dress and accessorise it from the high street, and we will be showing this idea a lot in our fashion show.”

The society of St Vincent de Paul works with disadvantaged people to tackle poverty through the provision of practical assistance to those in need. Kadee are delighted to be organising this fundraiser and would like to invite anybody to come and enjoy a cuppa, a chat, and some fashion.

Tickets, priced €10, are available from Kadee, and all proceeds go directly to the charity. Contact Kadee at (090 ) 6498355.
