With courses tailored for beginners from 7 years old right through to advanced sailing for teenagers that combine fun, safety, and skill-building, there is something for everyone.

Galway City Council, in partnership with Galway Bay Sailing Club, is inviting applications for ‘Gaeilge Chois Trá’ Scholarships, with six places on offer worth €320 per student.

Galway is once again gearing up for an international sailing event having been chosen as a stopover for the Round Britain and Ireland Race.
