New taekwon-do classes in south Galway

Revenue warns of e-mail seeking personal information

The Revenue Commissioners have warned of the existence of a fraudulent e-mail purporting to come from Revenue seeking personal information from taxpayers in connection with a tax refund. The e-mail asks the recipient to submit personal details including date of birth and debit/credit card details. This e-mail did not issue from Revenue.

Google makes final call for Westmeath doodles

Google is making its final call for Westmeath entries for the company’s Doodle 4 Google creative art and design competition. Nine Westmeath primary and secondary schools have already registered but there is still time to get involved as the deadline for entries is December 18.
