ATU launches Maker Space on its Galway campus

The Maker Space boasts an array of equipment, much of which was funded by the Higher Education 4.0 project, under HCI Pillar 3. This project is designed to encourage innovation and agility as a means of addressing future skill requirements.

ÉireComposites, an innovative design, manufacturing and testing company based in Inverin last evening announced a partnership with Manna Galway that will see it design and develop an aerospace grade carbon fibre airframe for Manna. Alongside NUI Galway (NUIG) the two companies also announced that they received €2.44 million for the MI-DRONE project.
