This Halloween midterm break, the ghosts of Gaelic Ireland may be gracing the galleries of Galway City Museum as Dave Swift of Claíomh Living History, shines a light on Ireland’s Gaelic past.

The Westside Christmas Market Committee is delighted to welcome back Westside Christmas Market and Family Day to its calendar of activities. The event takes place today Thursday Dec 8 and all are welcome to come along and join in the festivities.

Two groups of women in Galway joined forces last week with each other and women around the world to support gender equality and #BreakTheBias.

Kumon students not alone maintained their studies throughout the Covid-19 lockdowns, but many continued to advance beyond their age using their individualised daily programme of maths and/or English worksheets supplemented by weekly Zoom mentoring. The annual awards ceremony, now held outdoors at the Galway Greyhound Stadium and compliant with all restrictions, recognises and celebrates the achievements of all students.
