Tickets at €12 each will be available on the door or in Chambers Newsagents, Newport, and Downtown Records, Westport and Castlebar. The concert will commence at 8.30pm sharp so those attending are requested to please be seated by 8.15pm. There is no doubt but this will be a wonderful and most enjoyable evening of choral music.

This Thursday night February 19 is retro night at The Snug Bar, with The Retronauts providing a blast from the past with a modern twist! This Dublin band perform a quirky mix of funk, disco, rock and reggae hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and today, and they are influenced by artists as diverse as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin to Chic, Prince, and Diana Ross.

ATMOSPHERIC INDIE-ROCK, blues with a touch of grunge, and passionate folk will be heard in the Róisín Dubh on Wednesdays in February during that month’s instalment of the Citóg nights.

Mayo vocal group Coda bring their musical talents to the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar on Thursday next at 8 pm.
