LOUIS DEPAOR, Sarah Clancy, and Gerry Hanberry take part in the Over The Edge Poetry Book Showcase at Charlie Byrne’s, on Friday February 13 from 6.30pm.

THREE POETS, a fiction writer, and a celebration of the poems of by the late Tom Duddy, will make up the May Over The Edge Writers’ Gathering.

ABANDONED DARLINGS, a collection of writings from students of NUI Galway’s MA in Writing 2011-2012, will be launched on Wednesday December 19.

TOM DUDDY’S poetry, as expressed in his collection The Hiding Place, published by Arlen House, is greatly concerned with the way humans interact with each other.

Galway based author Tom Duddy has been shortlisted for the prestigious Aldeburgh First Collection Award and is the only Irish writer to make the list.

THE 2011 Over The Edge Poetry Book Showcase takes place on Friday February 11 at 8pm in Café 8 at The Galway City Museum.
