Last Friday a 60-strong international bike ride arrived in Erris to a warm welcome from local campaigners at the Bellanaboy Shell refinery site. The Solitaire will leave Irish waters once again with no pipeline laid.”
Prominent Shell to Sea campaigner Niall Harnett, Bar Na Cuille, Pullathomas, made an application to Judge Denis McLoughlin at Belmullet District Court on Wednesday for the issuing of four summonses against Superintendent Michael Larkin and Sergeant Gus Moran for an incident which occurred in May of this year.
