Coming to the Town Hall Theatre on Sunday Sept 3 is Scotland’s internationally acclaimed and mesmerizing songstress, Eddi Reader, of Fairground Attraction fame, along with Ireland’s own piano accordion maestro, Alan Kelly and his gang of acclaimed musicians featuring Steph Geremia on flute and vocals, John Douglas (Trashcan Sinatras) and Shane McGowan (Sean Keane Band) on guitars with Jim Higgins (Christy Moore, The Stunning) on percussion.

They are back. The Alan Kelly Gang with Eddi Reader and John Douglas return to the Linenhall Arts Centre in Castlebar for another guaranteed musical barnstormer on Monday September 5 at 8pm. 

Eddi Reader, one of popular music’s most thrilling and affecting performers, returns to the Town Hall Theatre next month. Having first hit the limelight in the 1980s with Fairground Attraction, Reader’s subsequent solo albums, most recently 2014’s warm and deeply personal Vagabond, have cemented her image as a powerful figure in British music with beautifully raw vocals and an unparalleled romanticism.
