Coeliac Society welcomes publication of new ICGP coeliac guidelines

The Coeliac Society and the Irish College of General Practitioners have published new guidelines on the diagnosis and management of adult coeliac disease. These guidelines put in place a framework for the early identification and treatment of patients with coeliac disease in primary healthcare.

Nine months to complete ground works for Portiuncula Hospital ward

Local Independent Deputy, Denis Naughten, has been informed by the Minister for Health that the ground works at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, in advance of construction of the new 50 bed ward block, will take nine months to complete with an expected finish date of May 25 2021.
