Castlebar has been confirmed to host The World Fleadh 2011 with preparations well under way for a great weekend of music and craic both in venues within Castlebar and outdoor street entertainment. The festival committee has worked hard over the last couple of months to secure Castlebar as the host town with The Royal Theatre Castlebar as the venue for the headlining acts of the weekend. Set to play the Main Stage in The Royal Theatre is Dervish with special guest Andy Irvine on Friday August 26, Tommy Fleming on Saturday night August 27, and Clannad on Sunday August 28.
