A JOURNEY by bike through the mountains of Nepal, a 97-year-old who runs up Mount Washington ever year, and a mother and daughter's epic ski adventure - this is the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

Indian Cultural and Sports Community (ICSC) along with NUI India SOC celebrated the festival of colours (HOLI) on Saturday, 23rd March 2019 in NUI Galway campus, which was attended by over 250 people with a strong representation of NUI Students and the Indian families living in Galway.

Roscommon town’s annual Easter parade looks all set to be a spectacular affair this Sunday. A huge effort has been put in over the past few weeks and the committee reports that there are some very colourful and inventive floats this year which will make for a very entertaining day for all those attending.

Moycullen will hold its first St Patrick’s Day parade this year and some 40 floats are expected to take part on Saturday March 17.
