In moving to The EYE Cinema, GFS intends to retain the intimate, community-focused atmosphere that has been central to the society for more than 60 years. Screenings will take place in the cinema’s smaller screens, with GFS continuing to manage its own ticket sales and welcome audiences to each screening.

During the month of May, Galway City Council Age Friendly Programme is partnering with Eye Cinema and Galway ‘Platinum Picture Show’ to enable a succession of screenings to celebrate the ‘Bealtaine Festival’ – with the first 40 tickets free for each screening.
