Free treatments for Europeans visiting Ireland
Free hyperbaric oxygenation treatments are available at OxyGeneration under the European Union Cross-Border Healthcare Directive. Unfortunately, it Is only (outside of Ireland) European residents who can use OxyGeneration. Irish people have to go abroad under the directive if they cannot get a suitable appointment in the National Hyperbaric Medical Unit at UHG. Any medical professional in consultation with the patient can give a letter of referral, including a nurse, a dentist or doctor.
