Penrose demands IDA focuses on Mullingar jobs

Experienced lighting expert Emma Lohan, will facilitate the workshop and set the lights for Passionfruit's upcoming play The Hooded Well, which will run in April. The play is funded by the HSE in association with the Midlands Drug Task Force and is written by Simon McGonnigle and directed by Annemarie Hynes, who are both natives of Athlone.

Drama Festival ready for its 58th year

The countdown to the RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival has begun. The event, which is now in its 58th year, will kick off at the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone on Friday April 30 and will run for nine nights finishing on Saturday May 8.
