To mark the historic milestone of the largest independent TV drama production in Ireland, directors and producers of the hugely popular drama series announce details of six celebratory, special episodes dedicated to the many ground-breaking, original and life changing storylines of 'Ros na Rún'. It was the first TV drama series on Irish TV to host a gay kiss and to cast Stephen Fry.

Ros na Rún, Ireland’s only rural TV drama is gearing up to its season finale tonight (Thursday) with compelling and complex stories of deceit, aggression, anger and narcissism. It appears the entire village is hiding something or a secret from someone to protect themselves at all costs. The TG4 drama comes to a highly dramatic and breath taking end at 8.30pm.

THE GALWAY Fringe Festival may not be the most high profile event happening over the next couple weeks but there are plenty of gems in its lively and varied programme that are well worth checking out.

THE 2019 Galway Fringe Festival, which this year celebrates it's ninth anniversary, runs from July 15 to 28, and will host more than 50 events in 15 venues across Galway city.
