The full line-up for the Vodafone Comedy Carnival 2017 has been revealed.

ANDREW MAXWELL, “one of the most significant comedians working in the country today", according to The Independent, returns to Galway to perform his latest show, Yo Contraire, at the Róisín Dubh.

IT ARRIVED last September with a name people thought was a typo, but as soon as they said it out loud, the penny dropped, and it made perfect, quirkily comedic, sense. Since then it has been onwards and upwards for the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh.

AT THE centre of the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, and located in the centre of the city, the Spiegeltent ‘Jean Louis’ in Eyre Square, promises to be a centre of laughter, hosting many of the festival's flagship events.

THERE IS less than a week to go to opening night of the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, and with ticket sales surging 20 per cent ahead of last year, it is no wonder Dylan Moran, Nina Conti, Jason Manford, Ardal O'Hanlon, and Stewart Lee have sold out already.

GALLANT it was not. Neither was it dashing. Even less was it sophisticated, but in spite of all that, Tiffany Stevenson admits that Galway was where she was treated to "the best chat-up line I've ever heard".

ALL THREE Dylan Moran shows at the Black Box Theatre have sold out, as has Nina Conti’s Town Hall show, while only a few tickets remain for the incredible Stewart Lee at the Róisín Dubh. Fear not though, there are still plenty of great shows to see at the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway.
