Heatons employee Margaret Connolly, who works in the store’s Mullingar branch, added a second string to her fashion bow this week by clinching the Best Dressed Lady prize at the Cheltenham Festival 2012. Margaret has become quite the ladies day pro, as earlier this year she was also awarded the Best Dressed Lady prize at the Hennessy Gold Cup.
Last month at the Hennessy Gold Cup, Margaret put her best fashion foot forward wearing an elegant 1950s style dress and coat, which she topped off with a stylish pair of gloves and a unique brown hat, which came all the way from Hong Kong! It was this same outfit that stood out to judges at Cheltenham, ultimately leading to two fashion victories in the space of two months.
To commemorate her win, Heatons Mullingar store manager, Brendan McGerr, presented Margaret with a beautiful bunch of flowers to mark the occasion this week.
Speaking of her wins Margaret said; “ I am so delighted winning both of these amazing prizes. I was so shocked when my name was called out, I almost didn’t believe it, especially given the amazing style I saw at both races. I am over the moon and want to thank Heatons for marking this special occasion for me.”
Adding to this, Heatons Mullingar store manager, Brendan McGerr, said, “All of the staff here at Heatons Mullingar are very proud of Margaret. She is always stylish and manages to put her look together effortlessly, so we are sure that the judges had an easy decision in choosing her as the best dressed lady.
