Ballycastle Christmas Craft Fair

Go along to the Christmas Craft Fair in Ballycastle Hall this weekend, the fair will take place on Saturday November 29 and Sunday November 30. On Saturday the fair will be open from 10am to 6pm and again from 8pm to 9.30pm, while on Sunday it will be open from 12 noon to 4pm. Admission is free, for more information call (086) 3787551.

Preparation for Advent

A one day retreat on the theme of Preparing for Advent will take place in the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, on Saturday November 29. It will be a day of reflection, prayer, and sharing, on the messages of Advent, with some of the scriptural women and men we encounter in the Liturgy of Advent. Ecumenical service for those bereaved through suicide

This service will take place, this evening, Friday, at 7.30pm in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar. This is an opportunity for members of the community to support those families who have been through suicide. It is also a time for families to remember their loved ones and commemorate their lives. There will be light refreshments following the service.

Western Care Bingo

Western Care Association and Cáirde Crann Mór are holding their 11th Monster Christmas Bingo in The Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on Sunday November 30. The bingo will have a guaranteed prize fund of €10,000 including a €2,000 jackpot and €1,000 flyer game, this is one of the biggest bingos in the west of Ireland in the lead up to Christmas. Doors open at 2pm and the bingo commences at 3pm sharp. Single books cost €20 and double books are €25. Flower arranging for Christmas
