Kilkenny man Guy Jones has been announced as a nominee in the arts and culture category for the prestigious Ireland Involved Awards with Specsavers, which took place yesterday, at the Royal Kilmainham Hospital, Dublin.

Mary Fitzgerald from Claremorris was among a group of Irish women in agriculture who headed to Argentina for a two-week study tour on October 7.
