Ballina AC athlete, Hugh Armstrong, has been called up by Athletics Ireland to be part of the national team that will be competing in the World Athletics Half Marathon Championships in Gdynia in Poland next month.
All competitors were restricted to one event which was hard on multi-discipline participants, as well as those who would normally run two or three races over the afternoon.
