NUI Galway Students’ Union this morning launched the Walktober Step Challenge to encourage staff and students to walk and build up to 10,000 steps per day by the end of October.

Twent-four teams of staff and student members have so far registered to take part in the challenge which starts today and runs until Sunday November 1.
