PCI counselling service, a nationwide, low-cost counselling service which was recently relaunched is inviting GPs and community and voluntary services in Athlone to form new partnerships in the area. PCI already provides low-cost counselling in a number of venues around Athlone, in conjunction with community centres, health centres and local counselling services and the number of people accessing the service in Westmeath increased by 25 per cent in 2014.

She has since completed six half marathons and two Olympic size New York City triathlons in 2009 and 2010, where she helped raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of New York City.
