Galway City Council has secured funding of up to €30 million under the Government’s Housing Infrastructure Investment Fund (HIIF), supporting key infrastructure projects that could unlock land for up to 12,877 homes across the city.

The Galway Ring Road is a project that, if planning is granted, will be funded by Government. I was one of the negotiating team that formulated the Programme for Government and I worked to secure the Government’s commitment to progressing and delivering this critical piece of strategic infrastructure for Galway.
