West new spring classes including morning sessions

Boxercise West has announced the new morning classes for its spring timetable. Early bird classes will start at 7am and then again at 9.30am to coincide with the school run. Boxercise West classes are growing from strength to strength each year as director/instructor of the classes Adrian Sheerin (winner of the best of Mayo service provider 2012) is constantly updating his own skills to give clients the best quality classes.

Wheelchair-bound since an accident in 1981, Newport man Tom Chambers knows no bounds. The sports fanatic has completed numerous marathons, pushed the wheels through countless races and inspired a multitude through his unyielding belief that anything is possible. The big man was always active, playing football with his native Burrishoole in his youth and later lining out across the water in England. When a car accident in 1981 left him disabled, it still could not take away his love of life and ambition to push back the boundaries time and time again.

Dragons Lair receives high accolades

Last weekend the Dragons Lair celebrated Bernard Doyle’s success after he was awarded the rank of sixth dan black belt by Master Thomas E Foley eighth dan.

Lough Ree Yacht Club Junior Sailing Course 2009

The Lough Ree junior sailing course begins next week on June 29 and runs until July 24.
