Majority of motorists fail to have regular car checks

A survey of 300 motorists in Ireland has revealed that almost seven out of 10 do not have their vehicle checked in between scheduled services or NCTs unless a fault has developed.

There was a ferry service to the Aran Islands in the 1960s, but the ship could only dock at Inis Mór.
