New car registrations still continue to fall in November

Official statistics released today by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) show that the total new car registrations for the month of November were down 5.72 percent (643) when compared to the same period in 2017 (682). Registrations year to date are down 4.4 percent (125,415) on November of last year (131,173).

Figures show fall off in new car registrations for October

Official statistics released by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) show that the total new car registrations for the month of October have fallen 11.2 per cent (1,725) when compared to the same period in 2017 (1,943). Registrations year to date are also down 4.4 per cent (124,809) on the same period last year (130,491).

The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Mr Michael Ring TD, officially opened the new branch of Heat Merchants in Castlebar, Co Mayo on Friday last.
