• Galway’s Greg Cunningham, who continues to impress at Manchester City, has agreed a new four-years deal at the club. The 19-years-old, who signed from Mervue United in 2007, made his Ireland debut in May and played for 30 minutes against Argentina last week. It has been an “ unbelievable year” for him, he says. “To get this new deal sorted and win my first full cap for my country has exceeded all my expectations.
