The event will be held on Saturday April 24, from 10am to 3pm at the NUI Galway Campus. The inaugural spring open day took place last year and over 3,000 students and their parents registered on the day.

Called Festival of the Fires, the festival is a rekindling of the ancient Bealtaine festival – the oldest recorded festival in the Western World.
