Impact report reveals Irish BICs supported over 1,000 start-ups over 2 years
Irish BICs (Business Innovation Centres), which support start-ups to access funding, mentorship and specialised resources, have launched an Impact Report, the first time the four BICs from around Ireland have come together to launch such a report. The four BICs include WestBIC, which covers Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo and Westmeath.
Enterprise Ireland supported 17 start-ups in the West in 2024
Seventeen start-ups based in the west of Ireland were among 157 early-stage companies supported by Enterprise Ireland in 2024, with a total of €27.6 million invested nationwide. The funding was delivered through the agency’s High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) and Pre-Seed Start Fund (PSSF) programmes.
