Applied suicide intervention skills training

A two day ASIST (applied suicide intervention skills training) course, organised by Iorras Le Chéile and HSE Suicide Prevention Department, will be held in Belmullet on Thursday and Friday September 29 and 30. This first aid for suicide course is particularly aimed at people who work with or have contact with people who may present with suicidal behaviour. This includes publicans, clergy, care workers, guards, parents, and those working with voluntary groups and organisations. Places are limited.
