Kinvara is gearing up for the return of Fleadh na gCuach 2026, a much-loved celebration of traditional music and community arts taking place over the May Bank Holiday Weekend. This year’s programme is packed, with over 120 musicians and artists performing across the village, including well-known names such as Alan Kelly, Mary Bergin, Brendan O’Regan, John Faulkner, and Eimer Casey, to name but a few.

Last year, over 742,000 people attended more than 1,700 Culture Night activities. This year, the 18th Culture Night programme will take place on September 22nd, and the events ‘coming of age’ promises an even bigger explosion of colour, music, dance and art on the streets of our towns and cities.

Misleor, which starts on Thursday September 29, is a truly special event, and the only festival in Ireland that celebrates and connects nomadic cultures from around the world. The three-day festival includes a vibrant programme of music, theatre, film, poetry, and visual art from Traveller, Roma, Sa?mi, Mongolian and Romany Gypsy communities.
