Knock Counselling Centre hosted a successful seminar with broadcaster, author, and columnist and presenter, David Coleman as part of its increase in services to families and young people. The seminar entitled Effective Communication with Children and Teenagers, took place in front of a packed audience at St John’s Rest and Care Centre, Knock Shrine, and was followed by an extended question and answer session.

The Ecumenical Service for Let Love Shine a Light in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice takes place on Sunday January 15 in St John’s Rest and Care Centre, Knock at 3.45pm.

The Mayo Roscommon Hospice annual Let Love Shine a Light campaign has been launched. Every year, friends and family members who have lost loved ones are asked to sponsor a light on the hospice’s Christmas tree which is placed in the centre of Knock.
