Scouting For Girls are playing The Royal Theatre Castlebar this Saturday night to celebrate the release of their new album Everybody Wants To Be On TV. With hit songs including ‘She’s So Lovely’, ‘I Wish I Was James Bond’, and ‘Elvis Ain’t Dead’, among others, Scouting for Girls is a show not to be missed and with Castlebar just an hour away with overnight specials in both the on site hotels why not make a weekend of it in Castlebar. In 2008 Scouting For Girls became the biggest selling new band of the year in the UK. Having toiled for 10 years unsigned, the three boys next door sold more than 900,000 records of their eponymous number one debut album, and were nominated for three Brit Awards (British Breakthrough Act, British Single (’Heartbeat’), and British Live Act, to become the UK’s most successful new pop band.
