 Renmore AFC, one of Galway city’s oldest soccer clubs which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, is now taking registrations for all juvenile and junior teams, boys and girls. 

• Galwegians RFC's new floodlights will be offically launched and switched on by Mayor Terry O'Flaherty at Crowley Park on Saturday. The Mayor will be joined by Billy Glynn, president of the IRFU and life member of Galwegians.To celebrate the occasion, a full afternoon's activity is lined up, with a range of family entertainment on offer to complete an action-packed day. There will be a series of friendly matches on view throughout the afternoon and evening, with the schedule as follows: 4.30pm u-16 Galwegians v Monivea; 5.15pm Women Galwegians v Connacht Selection; 6pm Over 50 Galwegians v Corinthians Tag; 6,25pm Over 40 Galwegians v Mixed Selection Tag; 7.15pm Galwegians 1st XV v University College Cork.
