The Chairperson of Moy Valley Resources IRD, David Dwane, has urged local businesses and Mayo County Council to rally behind a collaborative destination marketing project - Mayo North Tourism - in light of an unanticipated reduction of almost 30% to its annual core funding for 2023.

Mayo North Tourism this week launched its 2022 membership drive, with businesses of all types from Ballina and the surrounding areas encouraged to contribute towards a marketing and promotion fund for North Mayo, as the local tourism industry looks towards recovery post-Covid in 2022.
