Pam Dolan, born and reared in Crossmolina, Co Mayo, is a contemporary visual artist, living and working in Galway. Having graduated with distinction from GMIT in 1987, Pam’s work was chosen, and she was invited to exhibit in Australia as part of their Bicentennial celebrations and she spent two years there exhibiting, working and travelling.

CEIST (Catholic Education and Irish Schools Trust) has announced the appointment of Clíona Ní Néill as the first principal of Our Lady’s College, Galway. Ms Ní Néill is a native of Galway City and current principal of Presentation Secondary School, a position she has held since 2006.
An event took place this week to mark the launch of Our Lady’s College, which will officially open its doors in September 2016. This new school represents the union of two well-known Galway educational facilities; Presentation Secondary School and Mercy Newtownsmith.
