Kilkenny ladies made a winning start to the Bord Gais Energy National League with a resounding win over Derry on Sunday. After a four and a half hour journey the Cats took time to settle into their game finding themselves four points down after 15 minutes and in danger of letting the game drift away. However the Cats got into the swing of the game and before long had notched up 6 goals and 3 points to run out winners.
