Ciara Newell’s shooting brought the Oranmore side within touching distance, but Abbeyfeale just held out.

Ladies’ Division 1: Titans kept the pressure on Moycullen at the top of the table by maintaining their good form against NUIG 2. There were two other tight games in the division, with Corrib catching up with Ballinrobe in fourth position after beating them by four points. The other match in the division saw Titanides get their first win of the season.
