Keeping our young people safe on the internet

Young people have a natural interest in using modern technologies such as internet and social networking sites like Facebook. These technologies can be very beneficial when used properly but there are some dangers too. This programme will highlight simple ways which will help to keep our children safe. The event will take place in the Mayo Education Centre, Westport Road, Castlebar on Tuesday September 27 from 7pm to 9pm. The event is free of charge. Simple relaxation and contentment for children and adults

This evening seminar will explore some simple techniques to create and maintain relaxation and contentment. It is open to children and adults. When adults practice relaxed living it is easily transferred and taught to children. Students put pen to paper for Write A Book project

Over 500 students were involved in the process of composing, designing and publishing their own books and were recognised for their endeavours at a presentation in the Mayo Education Centre in April.
