A man who assaulted a pregnant woman following the Dalton Park riot has been given a four month prison sentence.

Judge John Neilan remanded the two factions involved in the Dalton Park riot in July to Mullingar Court on October 16 and November 6, at the local court last week.

Judge William Earley has described as “intolerable” the behaviour of a Mullingar man whom he said “dragged gardaí around the street” and showed poor example to small children.
