Nine teenagers from across Co Galway and Co Clare are to be celebrated this Sunday at the Coole Music Gala Concert 2023, for their great achievements in earning their ‘music for life’ badge.

Galway Senior Camogie delivered a 2-13 to 1-12 victory over Cork to claim the 2023 Very Camogie division 1A league crown for a second successive year.

All-Ireland Senior champions Galway dominated the 2021 Camogie All-Stars team, with eight players taking home an All-Stars award. And Galway's Aoife Donohue won the Camogie Association/GPA Senior Players’ Player of the Year award.

Psychologists at NUIG are conducting a study to understand the experiences of women who have had intimate images shared without their permission, or where they have experienced a threat to share such images (commonly referred to as ‘revenge porn’).
