He then went on to win silver in the 50m breaststroke final, while another Galway swimmer, Dairne Ryan, also took silver in the women’s 50m freestyle in 27.57. Galway’s good run continued in the 100m butterfly final with David O’Sullivan (57.31) claiming gold.
