Cuddihy selected for world championships

This year’s Celtic Games, held on the track at Athlone IT, proved very successful for the Athletics Ireland team. Scoring 169 points they were comfortable overall winners with Scotland finishing in second place on 155 points.

Tullamore Harriers athletic track was the venue for Day 1 and 2 of this year’s Under 12 to Under 19 track and field national championships. The strong gusting winds made life difficult for many but especially for the high jumpers and javelin throwers.
