National Men’s Shed president John Evoy is to visit Castlebar on Thursday December 6, to meet the members of the Mayo Men’s Shed groups and hear of the progress of the Men’s Shed activity around the county. The gathering will be held in the GMIT at 8pm and a large attendance is expected from Ballina, Castlebar, Belmullet, and Ballinrobe groups

More than 100 men attended the recent men’s health evening in Ballina, which was organised by the Ballina Family Resource Centre, the HSE and Ballina Lions Club.

The Erris Community Health Forum will hold a meeting to look at establishing a men’s group in Erris. This meeting will take place at the Broadhaven Bay Hotel, Belmullet, at 7.30pm on Wednesday April 27.
