For the second weekend in succession, Pearse Stadium will host Galway GAA’s marquee fixtures under the Saturday night lights as the Galway Senior Hurling Championship semi-finals take centre stage.

There is a familiar look to this year’s Galway Senior Hurling Championship quarter-finals, with six of last season’s final eight back for another shot at the Tom Callanan Cup. Craughwell and Oranmore/Maree are the only new faces at this stage, replacing Cappataggle and Castlegar.

The final four are now known in the race for the Galway Senior Hurling Championship after last weekend’s quarter-finals. Three of last year’s semi-finalists are back to the same stage again, with Turloughmore completing the line up after comfortably overcoming Castlegar last Saturday.
